What will be a better one firewall I can download and use for free, that will come with my windows xp and won't slow it down? :(

You can safelly turn on your Personal firewall given by XP installation. They will not slow down you computer.

But, of course, you can use any free firewall solution which can be customized on many level of protection.

I don't think that firewall slow down your computer - that is doing by antivirus or antispam programs.

I often use windows self firewall and AVG free antivirus and antispy software.

But on my last computer I have Norton Internet Security - while protection packet (firewall, spam, spyware, virus) and no slow down is notice. I think i'll by it after my test licence expire on.
